I’ve been looking for a wood chipper to rent. The ones I found were all too big to fit in my car. I’ve thought about buying one, but it doesn’t seem worth it to buy a smaller one. Plus, I would have to find a place to store it and a smaller one wouldn’t be able to cut the thicker branches I have. I also found places that would deliver the chipper. The rental cost wasn’t too high, but the delivery cost was double the rental price. The new plan is to take the excess soil I have from digging up my rain garden to the back fence and bury the branches there. This will create a mound of soil where I can plant. It’s a win-win situation.
